BELGRADE - Serbian PM Milos Vucevic said on Tuesday four young Serb men had been arrested by Pristina's police in the northern part of Kosovska Mitrovica last night.
"According to my information, and I have spoken with (head of the Office for Kosovo-Metohija) Petar Petkovic this morning, three Serbs, young men of Serb ethnicity, were beaten up in the north - dragged out of a building and then beaten up - and a fourth man who recorded all that with his phone, that repression and the attack on the young Serbs, was arrested, too," Vucevic told Prva TV.
Vucevic said he had information that one of the Serbs had been arrested after allegedly being identified in connection with last year's protest of Serbs in Zvecan.
"I wonder what their (Pristina's) Inquisition-style investigation will lead to but, unfortunately, the daily pressure on the Serbs continues," he said.
He noted that Pristina was conducting repression against the Serbs on a daily basis to create an environment in which they cannot remain in Kosovo-Metohija.
