BELGRADE - Serbian PM Milos Vucevic met with the State Secretary of the Holy See Cardinal Pietro Parolin in Belgrade on Wednesday to discuss key topics for strengthening overall relations between Serbia and the Vatican and inform him of the situation in Kosovo-Metohija.
"Serbia highly appreciates the principled position of the Holy See with regards to non-recognition of the unilaterally declared independence of the so-called Kosovo, despite the pressure it is under due to such a decision," Vucevic wrote in an Instagram post.
Conveying concerns over the situation in Kosovo-Metohija, Vucevic noted that Pristina must be put under international pressure to ensure a continuation of dialogue with Belgrade and stop the terror against Serbs in Kosovo-Metohija.
As a token of friendship and good cooperation, Vucevic presented to Parolin a silver sanctuary lamp specially crafted for him.
