GORNJI MILANOVAC - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic announced on Friday he would meet with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz in Germany on October 7 and 14 as well as in Brussels 15 to 20 days later, when he will also speak with French President Emmanuel Macron.
Vucic said this in response to requests from reporters to comment on claims by an opposition MP that he would travel to Germany for an October 7 meeting with Scholz rather than attend a parliament session on lithium mining in Serbia.
"I will be meeting with Scholz in Hamburg on both October 7 and October 14, and again after that in Brussels, 15 to 20 days later, and I will also be meeting with Macron," Vucic said.
"That is the isolated Vucic who, as I have said, would meet within a month with what will eventually be 50 world leaders, and I previously said 30 to 40," he remarked.
