Glisic, Mesarovic appointed to ministerial posts vacated by Vesic, Momirovic

BELGRADE - Serbian PM Milos Vucevic has put Minister for Public Investment Darko Glisic in charge of the Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure from November 25, 2024 until the election of a new minister, according to the Official Gazette.

Vucevic also authorised Minister of Economy Adrijana Mesarovic to act as minister of internal and external trade from the same date until the election of a new minister.

Glisic and Mesarovic temporarily succeed Goran Vesic and Tomislav Momirovic, who both resigned as ministers in the wake of the November 1 tragic accident at the Novi Sad railway station.

The Serbian parliament took note of the resignations on Monday.
