BELGRADE - Serbian Minister of Information and Telecommunications Dejan Ristic held a series of meetings with numerous diplomats in the past several days, lending a strong impetus to continued development of international cooperation, the Ministry of Information and Telecommunications said in a statement on Tuesday.
Ways to advance and strengthen the ministry's international cooperation in the information and telecommunications sectors were discussed in more detail.
Signing inter-state agreements on cooperation between the ministry and its equivalents in Iran, Lebanon and Pakistan was initiated at the meetings.
Also, Ristic invited his counterparts in Pakistan, Lebanon and Iran to visit Serbia to further boost the cooperation and make it more concrete and open up possibilities for accelerated development of business cooperation in the ICT sector.
The parties also agreed to continue to maintain communication with a view to implementing reached agreements and continuing the development of the public information and telecommunications sectors.
Ristic met with the ambassadors of Israel, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Lebanon, Pakistan and Germany, as well as with the Iranian charge d' affaires in Belgrade and Serbia's ambassadors to Iran and Croatia.
