Vucic speaks with Orban

BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic spoke by phone with Hungarian PM Viktor Orban on Tuesday evening to discuss Serbian-Hungarian relations.

"I have just finished a discussion with Hungarian PM Viktor Orban. We wished each other a happy New Year in 2025 and agreed to continue to build the closest Serbian-Hungarian relations," Vucic wrote in a post on his buducnostsrbijeav Instagram account.

Vucic added that he was also due to meet with Orban in the second half of January to make more concrete the agreements reached in various areas of social life.

Vucic noted that Serbia and Hungary were truly brotherly countries and would remain so.
