Vucic calls meeting over US sanctions on NIS

BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic has called a meeting of several government ministers, his entire presidential cabinet and all energy experts over US sanctions on Serbia's majority Russian-owned oil company NIS, Tanjug learns.

The meeting will be held at the Presidency of Serbia.

A US decision to impose the sanctions is expected to be announced within the next several hours, a source at the Presidency said.

At its most recent session, the Serbian government said comprehensive US sanctions on NIS would put Serbia in a difficult situation.
