DAVOS - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic met with European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen in Davos on Monday to discuss the current regional and global situation, focusing on accelerating Serbia's European path.
"It is always nice to meet a sincere friend of Serbia such as Ursula von der Leyen. A brief exchange on the current situation in the world and the region, with focus on accelerating Serbia's European path," Vucic wrote in a post on his buducnostsrbijeav Instagram profile.
Vucic will attend this year's World Economic Forum meeting in Davos, to be held until January 24.
While in Davos, Vucic will have a series of bilateral meetings with world and European officials and his agenda also includes numerous meetings with representatives of international organisations, financial institutions and leading companies as well as with representatives of countries to attend EXPO 2027 in Belgrade.
Vucic will also attend a series of conferences, discussions and sessions involving world leaders.
