BELGRADE - Serbian caretaker PM Milos Vucevic said on Wednesday the demands of students who were blocking university buildings had been "more than met" following the fall of his government and the resignation of the Novi Sad mayor.
"Has there been talk about additional political responsibility? There it is," Vucevic said on K1 TV.
"It anyone believes the demands have not been met, they should come to discussions to say specifically what has not been met, and where and how," Vucevic said, adding that "we cannot play with serious things such as these."
He also said he was disappointed with a decision by the Rector's Collegium of the University of Belgrade to decline President Aleksandar Vucic's call to dialogue, and noted that he had believed it would be accepted as a path to "calming the situation in society" and seeking a solution through dialogue.
Vucevic also said protests and blockades in the country would have a negative impact on the national economy and foreign investments.
