Djuric speaks with US geopolitical expert George Friedman

BELGRADE - Serbian FM Marko Djuric spoke with US geopolitical expert George Friedman on Wednesday, noting that Serbia strived to be recognised as a pillar of stability in the Western Balkans and that its constructive role and forward-looking vision were more important than ever.

"The exchange of views I had today with the esteemed geopolitical expert George Friedman provided valuable insights into the shifting global landscape and the strategic positioning of our region within it. Serbia strives to be recognised as a pillar of stability in the Western Balkans, guided by our responsible, independent and open-handed foreign policy rooted in the principles of peace, international law, mutual respect and regional cooperation. Promoting and nurturing good neighborly relations underpin long-term economic growth and shared prosperity across the region," Djuric posted on X.

"In these times of complex global realignments, Serbia’s constructive role and forward-looking vision are more important than ever," he noted.
