BELGRADE - Serbian PM Djuro Macut met on Monday with a delegation of the Caribbean states of St Kitts and Nevis and St Lucia, headed by Parliament Speakers Lanein Blanchette and Claudius Francis.
In a statement after the meeting, Macut said it had been a good opportunity also for experience-sharing regarding long-standing cooperation and further advancement of communication, which he said would be important for all parties.
He also said the meeting was very significant due to the attitude to strategically important matters for Serbia, the Serbian government said in a statement.
Macut said it was important to advance cooperation in education, especially when it comes to awarding scholarships to foreign students wishing to study in Serbia.
They also discussed advancement of cooperation regarding trade, security and issues related to improving the position of people with disabilities.
