Bolt: I am excited to be able to present EXPO 2027 to whole world

BELGRADE - Former Jamaican superstar sprinter Usain Bolt, who was on Tuesday unveiled as the first official EXPO 2027 brand ambassador, said he was excited to be able to present the event - themed Play for Humanity: Sport and Music for All - to the entire world.

After a meeting with Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic at the Palace of Serbia in Belgrade, Bolt noted that he was honoured to have been invited to become an EXPO 2027 brand ambassador.

He said he had discussed with Vucic the way Serbia would continue to develop and the Belgrade Waterfront, among other topics, and that he was glad to be able to acquaint people with the beauties of Serbia.

He said he had known of Serbia for many years, that he had friends in the country and that Serbia had great athletes.

Bolt said the EXPO was a great opportunity to make Serbia more visible and expand its capabilities to develop the country and make it better for the people.
