BELGRADE - Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) leader Milos Vucevic met with Hungarian PM Viktor Orban's Western Balkans envoy Zsolt Bunford and Hungary's Ambassador to Belgrade Jozsef Magyar on Tuesday to discuss a continuation of successful cooperation in all areas.

"Hungary is a sincere friend of Serbia and we have exceptional brotherly relations between two independent and freedom-loving countries," Vucevic said at the meeting, held at the SNS headquarters in Belgrade.

According to a post on the SNS Instagram account, Vucevic said the foundations for the relations had been laid by Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic and Orban.

He thanked the Hungarian officials for the sincere support for Serbia on its European path, and highlighted the significance of the brotherly bilateral relations and the cooperation between the SNS and Hungary's Fidesz, established and successfully cherished by Vucic and Orban.

Thanking Vucevic for the hospitality, Bunford noted that the Hungarian side would be pushing even more for even stronger development of bilateral cooperation in areas of importance for both countries, as well as for simultaneous development of inter-party cooperation.
