Vucic receives credentials of new Indonesian ambassador

BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic received the credentials of new Indonesian Ambassador to Serbia Andreano Erwin on Monday.

"I wished a cordial welcome to Indonesia's newly-appointed ambassador, expressing the hope he will have a successful and pleasant stay in Serbia, as well as that, through joint work, we will contribute to advancement of overall bilateral relations between Serbia and Indonesia," Vucic posted on Instagram.

They discussed further strengthening of the friendly relations between Serbia and Indonesia, based on the traditions of the Non-Aligned Movement, as well as the significance of economic relations and deepening the cooperation in agriculture, energy, the IT sector, the military and chemical industries and tourism.

"I thanked Indonesia for its principled support for the territorial integrity of Serbia and for its assistance during our accession to the Treaty of Amity and Cooperation in Southeast Asia," Vucic added.
