NOVI PAZAR/POZEGA - Serbian Armed Forces (SAF) Chief of General Staff Gen Milan Mojsilovic visited SAF ground forces units in the Raska garrison and the Novi Pazar and Pozega garrison locations on Tuesday and Wednesday to review the organisation of work and life there and the level of combat readiness and fulfilment of the most significant tasks, including the pace of infrastructure works on troop accommodation facilities.
With Ground Forces Commander Maj-Gen Zoran Naskovic and the commanding officers of tactical units, Mojsilovic discussed current security challenges, the filling and development of army ranks and plans for furthering the capabilities to execute assigned missions and tasks, the Serbian MoD said in a statement.
Mojsilovic also visited the Djurdjevi stupovi monastery and engineering troops rebuilding macadam roads in the Sjenica municipality.
He commended the professional and responsible actions of SAF troops and their level of training and high morale, noting that their capabilities and unwavering loyalty to their fatherland, Serbia, along with modern arms the army was constantly acquiring, were the best guarantee of peace, stability and freedom.
