Vucic: Japan has confirmed its participation in EXPO 2027

BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said on Friday Japan had officially confirmed its participation in EXPO 2027 Belgrade, making Serbia the host of a specialised EXPO with the highest-ever number of participants.

"In that regard, we have even succeeded in surpassing Astana in Kazakhstan, our brotherly and friendly country," Vucic said after a reception for young Serbian athletes from 18 countries who are participating in the Serbia is Calling You 2025 sports camp.

Vucic noted that he was proud of Serbia and of what the country had managed to do with less than two years to go before the start of EXPO 2027.
