Dacic meets with Kazakh deputy PM in Almaty

ALMATY - Serbian Deputy PM and Interior Minister Ivica Dacic met with Kazakh Deputy PM and Minister of National Economy Serik Zhumangarin in Almaty, where a Serbia-Kazakhstan intergovernmental commission on trade and economic cooperation held its fourth session.

Dacic noted that bilateral relations with Kazakhstan were characterised by mutual respect, understanding and mutual support in all areas of mutual interest, the Interior Ministry said in a statement.

Dacic thanked Zhumangarin for Kazakhstan's firm and consistent support for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Serbia and Belgrade's position and policy regarding the Autonomous Province of Kosovo-Metohija.

The parties agreed that stepping up exchanges of high- and top-level visits was important for advancement of the comprehensive bilateral cooperation, especially in the economy, business, culture, tourism and defence, the statement said.
