Vucic receives Hollywood actor Steven Seagal and his son

BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic received Hollywood actor and martial artist Steven Seagal and his son Kunzang in Belgrade on Thursday.

The two are in Serbia for the start of the shooting of the action thriller Order of The Dragon, starring Seagal, Ron Smoorenburg, Michael Pare, Michel Qissi, Jenny Paris and Alona Hertha.

Directed by Croatian Vjekoslav Katusin, it will be filmed on several locations in Belgrade.

"I am very happy to be able to host Steven Seagal - not only an actor and a producer, but a great artist and a man who is one of the most skillful and the most successful martial artists, a friend of Serbia," Vucic told reporters at the Presidency of Serbia.

Steven Seagal obtained Serbian citizenship in 2016.

After a meeting with then-PM Vucic, Seagal said he would do everything in his power to promote his new home country Serbia as well as possible.

Seagal, who is also a musician, performed live with his band outside the Serbian parliament building on New Year's Eve 2016.
