Selakovic meets with Azerbaijani counterpart

BARCELONA - Serbian Culture Minister Nikola Selakovic met with Azerbaijani counterpart Adil Gabil oghlu Karimli at the MONDIACULT 2025 UNESCO World Conference on Cultural Policies and Sustainable Development in Barcelona on Monday.

The parties highlighted the significance of continuing and advancing the traditionally good and friendly relations between the two countries.

They announced the signing of a memorandum between their ministries on cooperation in culture for 2025-2029 to lend an additional impetus to developing bilateral cooperation in culture.

They agreed that, as part of cultural cooperation, special attention needed to be devoted to presenting fields contributing to better mutual understanding.

As part of development of bilateral cultural cooperation, Selakovic and Karimli assessed concrete activities regarding hosting exhibitions and concerts before the end of this year.
