BELGRADE - To date, 122 countries have confirmed their participation in EXPO 2027 Belgrade, Serbian First Deputy PM and Finance Minister Sinisa Mali said on Tuesday.
"Serbia will host the largest event in the world in that year. As of now, according to the latest information, as many as 122 countries of the world are already registered and confirmed to come to Serbia. Of course, we have defined 323 projects we are working on and building across Serbia, not only for the EXPO, but under the umbrella of the Serbia 2027 - A Leap Into the Future programme, to not only present ourselves in the right way in 2027, but also to raise the quality of life and infrastructure in our Serbia and turn a new page in the growth and development of our country beyond 2027," Mali said in the Serbian parliament.
"That is why we will propose to the citizens an investment cycle and programme for 2028-2035 very soon," Mali said.
