Vucic: Ohel fought through 738 days of darkness and won, his strength inspires us all

BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic welcomed on Monday the release of Israeli-Serbian national Alon Ohel, who spent more than two years in Hamas captivity.

"Alon Ohel, you fought through 738 days of darkness and won. Welcome home, dear friend - your strength inspires us all. Idit and Kobi, wrap your arms around your son. The nightmare is over. Serbia stands grateful to Donald Trump, Jared Kushner, Steve Witkoff and Benjamin Netanyahu - leaders who deliver freedom when it counts. Stability is the only path forward," Vucic wrote in a post on X.
