Elek: Srpska lista has won landslide victory in nine out of ten municipalities

KOSOVSKA MITROVICA- Srpska lista leader Zlatan Elek announced on Sunday evening the party had won a landslide victory in nine out of ten Serb-majority municipalities in local elections in Kosovo-Metohija and that it had a two-thirds majority in all ten municipalities, and noted that four municipalities north of the Ibar River were back in Serb hands.

"The most important thing for the Serbs is that we have won a convincing victory in all ten Serb-majority municipalities and that the four municipalities north of the Ibar River have been returned to the citizens, who took out their pens today and said what they had to say - that Srpska lista won a landslide victory," Elek said at a press conference.

Srpska lista deputy leader Igor Simic said this was another convincing victory for the party, which he noted was the largest and the most important Serb party in Kosovo-Metohija.
