Mali: National stadium in Belgrade to be one of most beautiful stadiums in Europe

BELGRADE - The National Stadium in Belgrade will be one of the three most beautiful stadiums in Europe, Serbian First Deputy PM and Finance Minister Sinisa Mali said on Monday, adding that 5,000 people were working on the EXPO complex every day.

"We are proud of this project, as well as of the entire EXPO complex, on which 5,000 people are working every day," Mali posted on Instagram.

Once everything is finished in 2027, more than ever before, the citizens will have a reason to be proud of their country, he added.

EXPO 2027 Belgrade will be held from May 15 to August 15 2027, featuring more than 120 participant countries.

The 93-day event is expected to attract more than four million visitors.
