Dacic: Serbia-UAE police cooperation excellent

MARRAKESH - Serbian Interior Minister Ivica Dacic met on Monday with Interpol Governance Committee President Dana Humaid Al Marzouqi on the sidelines of the Interpol General Assembly session in Marrakesh.

Al Marzouqi is also director general of the International Affairs Bureau at the UAE Interior Ministry.

"We agreed that there is excellent strategic-level police cooperation between the Republic of Serbia and the UAE, proceeding, above all, through mutual visits, and I also touched upon my successful visit to the UAE in May this year, which has resulted in an additional impetus to strengthening the bilateral relations between the two countries," Dacic wrote in an Instagram post after the meeting with Al Marzouqi.

Dacic noted that they had agreed that participation of all Interpol member states and regions in adopting strategic plans and decisions was crucial for Interpol's development and success in accomplishing the objectives of the fight against all forms of crime, especially in fighting against, and protecting children from, all types of abuse on the Internet.
