Dacic greets president of DR Congo in Belgrade

BELGRADE - President of DR Congo Felix Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo arrived on an official visit to Serbia on Thursday and was greeted by Deputy PM and Interior Minister Ivica Dacic at Belgrade's Nikola Tesla Airport.

"I am confident this visit will lend a new momentum to advancement of the traditionally friendly relations between our countries," Dacic posted on Instagram.

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic will host Tshisekedi on Friday, the press office of the president of Serbia has announced.

Tshisekedi will be visiting Serbia until November 29.

A welcoming ceremony outside the Palace of Serbia is scheduled for Friday 10.30 am and will be followed by a tete-a-tete meeting of the two presidents.

Delegations of Serbia and DR Congo, headed by Vucic and Tshisekedi, will then hold a plenary meeting.

The two countries will afterwards sign and exchange bilateral documents at a ceremony to also be attended by the two presidents.

Vucic and Tshisekedi will then hold a press conference.
