PUTINCI - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said on Monday evening he hoped the situation regarding Serbia's oil company NIS, which is under US sanctions due to its Russian majority ownership, would be resolved in the coming weeks and noted that there were problems with imports of oil derivatives but that, fortunately, Serbia had huge reserves.
"What remains is this thing with NIS, we hope we will be able to finish that in the weeks that are ahead. We have problems with imports of some derivatives but, fortunately, we have huge reserves, and that is what is saving us right now," Vucic told reporters in Putinci near Ruma, northwestern Serbia.
