Vucic, MOL executives discuss potential purchase of NIS

BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic discussed with MOL top executives a possibility of the Hungarian oil firm purchasing the Serbian oil company NIS, a source at the Presidency of Serbia has confirmed to Tanjug.

The parties discussed all aspects of cooperation, the urgency of resolving the problem with the US Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) and the importance of signing an interstate agreement between Serbia and Hungary.

NIS is under US sanctions due to its Russian majority ownership.
