BELGRADE - Serbian FM Marko Djuric met with the EU special envoy for the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue Peter Sorensen on Friday to discuss the path forward in the dialogue and the situation in the Autonomous Province of Kosovo-Metohija.
"While stressing Belgrade’s continuous constructive role, the need for enhanced international engagement in the province and the fact that the rights and security of Serbs must be upheld, I underlined that the establishment of the Community of Serb Municipalities and the fulfillment of all agreed commitments are indispensable to restoring meaningful dialogue and enabling lasting stability," Djuric posted on social media networks.
"Obstructive, destabilising and confrontational rhetoric and actions by representatives of the Provisional Institutions of Self-Government in Pristina continue to be detrimental to the dialogue and to undermine peace and security across the region," Djuric noted.
