BRUSSELS - EU foreign policy and security chief Kaja Kallas said on Wednesday the formation of a new government in Pristina was a "new momentum" to advance on the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue and that she was ready to host a high-level meeting soon.
In a post on X, Kallas wrote that, after more than a year of political deadlock, the formation of the new Pristina government was "encouraging news."
"This is a new momentum to advance on EU-Kosovo relations and the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue. I am ready to host a high-level meeting soon," she added.
Earlier in the day, Pristina's assembly elected the new government, led by Self-Determination leader Albin Kurti, who was previously caretaker PM.
