Macut, gov't ministers lay wreaths on Djindjic assassination site

BELGRADE - Serbian PM Djuro Macut and government ministers on Thursday laid wreaths on the site of former PM Zoran Djindjic's assassination 23 years ago.

Djindjic was assassinated on March 12, 2003, at the entrance to the government building in central Belgrade.

He was 50 years old.

Djindjic was the first PM of Serbia following the downfall of the Slobodan Milosevic regime and a key figure in the changes that took place after October 5, 2000.
