Vucic, Belgian FM discuss economic cooperation, Serbia's EU path

BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic met with Belgian Deputy PM and FM Maxime Prevot in Belgrade on Wednesday to discuss advancement of Serbia-Belgium bilateral relations, economic cooperation and Serbia's EU path.
"A good and substantial discussion with Maxime Prevot about advancement of overall bilateral relations between Serbia and Belgium, our country's EU path and current international developments," Vucic posted on Instagram.
He added that special attention had been devoted to advancement of economic relations, with focus on attracting new investments and strengthening cooperation in innovation and the ICT sector, which he noted held significant potential for further development.
"I noted that Serbia is interested in continuing the cooperation with Belgian state institutions also in the field of experience-sharing on regulating and incentivising renewable energy sources and, in particular, on projects to build wind farms," Vucic added.
He noted that Serbia was working intensively on accelerating its reform process to further improve the citizens' quality of life and achieve further progress on the EU path.
