TBILISI - Deputy Chief of Serbian Armed Forces General Staff Lt Gen Tiosav Jankovic attended a South-Eastern Europe Defence Ministerial (SEDM) deputy chiefs of defence meeting in Tbilisi on Thursday.
"At the regular annual meeting of this regional initiative, the implementation of agreed activities and projects was discussed, and a joint statement was adopted, reaffirming commitment to regional dialogue at all levels as a key instrument for managing current crises," the Serbian Ministry of Defence said.
"In his address, Gen Jankovic noted that the Republic of Serbia is fully committed to respecting the UN Charter and all active United Nations Security Council resolutions, while also recognising the South-Eastern Europe Defence Ministerial as a good platform for developing regional understanding, dialogue, and cooperation.
