Stano: EU continues to work on deescalation in north of Kosovo

BRUSSELS - EU spokesperson Peter Stano said on Friday the EU continued to work on deescalation of the situation in the north of Kosovo-Metohija.

Together with its partners, the EU continues to work on deescalation, in particular in the north of Kosovo, so that a safe environment and free movement can be ensured to all citizens, Stano said at a press briefing in Brussels.

He noted that EU foreign policy and security chief Josep Borrell and special envoy Miroslav Lajcak maintained constant contact with interlocutors in the region and EU member states, as well as with all important actors.
