BRUSSELS - Serbian PM Ana Brnabic said on Wednesday in Brussels she had had an excellent meeting with European Parliament Rapporteur for Serbia Vladimir Bilcik and that they had discussed the current situation in the Western Balkans and the importance of regional cooperation and preservation of peace and stability.
"We also discussed the upcoming elections in Serbia and ODIHR's recommendations for their management. In addition to the ODIHR observation mission, we will also send an invitation to the delegations of the European Parliament and the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe to observe the elections," Brnabic wrote in an Instagram post.
"I am glad that our international partners recognise the efforts we are making to improve the electoral process. Thank you for your support," she added.
Brnabic is in Brussels for a two-day Global Gateway Forum hosted by the European Commission.
She will meet with EU Enlargement Commissioner Oliver Varhelyi and Home Affairs Commissioner Ylva Johansson and also attend a dinner to be hosted by European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen on Wednesday evening.
