Vucic meets with UAE president in Dubai

DUBAI - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic met with UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan during the COP28 climate summit in Dubai on Friday and noted that Serbia was a small country, but that it knew how to appreciate its great friends.

In an Instagram post, Vucic wrote that they had had a long discussion on "all key matters of our bilateral and economic relations, plans for EXPO 2027, as well as other large projects of significance to our country."

He said he had personally congratulated bin Zayed Al Nahyan on the UAE's National Day.

He wished the UAE the best for further progress and noted that the country's "fascinating success is an example and a model to all of us."
