Jovanovic: HOPE coalition has demonstrated it has serious political programme

BELGRADE - The Serbian HOPE Coalition has demonstrated it has a serious political programme and serious people, said Milos Jovanovic, one of the leaders of the opposition coalition, formed by the New Democratic Party of Serbia and the Movement for Restoration of the Kingdom of Serbia.

In a statement to reporters after voting at a polling station in Belgrade's Vracar municipality, Jovanovic said he expected the elections to mark the official start of deep changes needed by Serbia.

He also said he expected the citizens to have realised that the responsibility for Serbia's destiny was in their hands and that they would demonstrate that with a high turnout.
