Serbia Must Not Stop list won 46.71 pct of votes - commission

BELGRADE - Based on votes from 7,946 of 8,273 polling stations across Serbia, the Aleksandar Vucic-led Serbia Must Not Stop electoral list won 46.71 pct, or 1,709,505 votes, in Sunday's parliamentary elections in the country, the national electoral commission announced this evening.

The Serbia Against Violence list won 23.58 pct (862,830 votes), followed by the Socialist Party of Serbia list with 6.55 pct (239,878 votes), the commission said on its website.

The HOPE coalition won 5.04 pct (184,319 votes) and the We - A Voice From The People list won 4.69 pct (171,507 votes).

The National Gathering coalition, formed by the Serbian Oathkeepers Party and the Serbian Dveri Movement, garnered 2.78 pct (101,610 votes), the Serbian Radical Party has 1.47 pct (53,629 votes) and the Alliance of Vojvodina Hungarians won 1.71 pct, or 62,408 votes.

The Usame Zukorlic and Tomislav Zigmanov-led list has 0.77 pct (28,146 votes) and the Democratic Action Party - Sulejman Ugljanin list won 0.59 pct, or 21,615 votes.

The People's Party - Safe Choice has 0.88 pct (32,152 votes) and is followed by the Good Morning, Serbia list with 1.18 pct (43,321 votes), the Saip Kamberi list with 0.37 votes (13,459 votes), Serbia In The West with 0.14 pct (5,279 votes) and the Russian Party with 0.3 pct (10,928 votes).

Cedomir Jovanovic's It Must Be Done Differently list won 0.24 pct (8,915 votes) and the Albanian Democratic Alternative - United Valley has 0.09 pct, or 3,172 votes.

The commission also said the turnout in the parliamentary elections was 59.7 pct and that the percentage of valid and invalid ballots was 97.26 pct and 2.74 pct, respectively.
