Belgrade court rejects last complaint, electoral process completed

BELGRADE - The Higher Court in Belgrade on Thursday rejected the last complaint to the consolidated report on the results of the elections for the City of Belgrade Assembly, held on December 17 and repeated at three polling stations on December 30.

This means the electoral process is now complete, the city authorities said in a statement.

The head of the City of Belgrade electoral commission Zoran Lukic explained the conditions were now in place for the commission to formally assign mandates to the members of the new city assembly, after which the timeframes for calling a constitutive session of the assembly will begin.
