BELGRADE - Serbia will thoroughly carry out all reforms necessary to accelerate its European path while defending its own national interests and the right to sovereign decision-making, Serbia's new PM Milos Vucevic said on Friday.
Vucevic said this in a post on the social media network X, in response to congratulations from EU Enlargement Commissioner Oliver Varhelyi.
"Much work is ahead of us to achieve our shared objectives, and your assistance on that path will do us good," Vucevic wrote in the post, thanking Varhelyi for the congratulations.
"Congratulations to Prime Minister Milos Vucevic and his new government! Looking forward to working with you on Serbia’s EU accession," Varhelyi posted on X.
