BELGRADE - The Higher Court in Belgrade has confirmed an indictment against three people suspected of several criminal offences containing elements of corruption that resulted in the November 1, 2024 deadly overhang collapse at the Novi Sad railway station, which left 16 people dead, sources at the court told Tanjug on Thursday.
Slobodanka K, investment development manager at Belgrade-based Serbian Railways Infrastructure JSC, is charged with criminal office abuse and an aggravated crime against general safety.
Milutin S, who chaired a technical inspection commission for the railway station, and Biljana K, a member of the commission, are charged with the crime of unconscientious work in office and an aggravated crime against general safety.
