Vucic meets with Motika, Simanic

BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic met with architect Novica Motika and basketball player Borisa Simanic in the Presidency of Serbia building in Belgrade on Tuesday.

In a post on his buducnostsrbijeav Instagram account, Vucic wrote that the meeting had been cordial and friendly.

Motika, the founder and owner of an architectural design studio in Zvornik, Republika Srpska, has recently supported a project to build a kindergarten in nearby Branjevo by donating the entire design documentation.

Simanic is a former Serbia basketball international who was seriously injured by an opposing player during the Serbia v South Sudan game at the 2023 FIBA Basketball World Cup in Manila.

Due to the injury, Simanic had to undergo a surgery during which one of his kidneys was removed.
