NOVI SAD - The Higher Public Prosecutor's Office in Novi Sad has again indicted 13 people for the November 1 deadly roof collapse at the city's railway station that left 16 people dead and one seriously injured.
The indictees include former Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure Goran Vesic.
They are indicted for committing serious crimes against general safety.
Under the indictment, they committed the criminal offence of enabling the use of a public facility - Wing B of the Novi Sad railway station building - even though construction works were underway and the facility had no operating permit, the criminal offence of prior non-maintenance of the building's structure and criminal offences in the design and works execution phase of the renovation of the railway station building.
The Prosecutor's Office proposed custody for all indictees.
