Djokovic to face Australia's Ebden in first round of Olympic tournament

PARIS - Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic was on Thursday drawn to play Australian Matthew Ebden in the first round of the Olympic tournament.

The draw ceremony was held in Paris.

If he advances to the second round, Djokovic will face Spaniard Rafael Nadal or Hungarian Marton Fucsovics.

The Olympic tennis tournament will be played at the Roland Garros complex from July 27 to August 4.

The defending champion is German Alexander Zverev, who took the gold in Tokyo three years ago by defeating Russian Karen Khachanov in the final.

Djokovic has one Olympic bronze medal, which he won in Beijing in 2008.
