Serbia beat Germany to reach 3x3 basketball world cup quarter-finals

ULAN BATHOR - The Serbia men's national 3x3 basketball team is through to the World Cup quarter-finals after beating Germany 21-9 in the last round in the competition's Group A in Ulan Bathor on Thursday.

Defending champions Serbia also defeated Madagascar 21-9 earlier in the day.

They won the group and secured a direct quarter-final berth with three wins and one defeat.

Germany and Australia have qualified for the round of 16 and Belgium and Madagascar have been knocked out of the competition.
