Basketball Federation of Serbia: Agreement with Pesic in place until end of month

BELGRADE - The Basketball Federation of Serbia (KSS) has dismissed as untrue media reports that Svetislav Pesic, head coach of the men's national basketball team, has been relieved of his duties.

"Svetislav Pesic has an agreement with the KSS until September 30, 2025. Top KSS officials will speak with the head coach in the coming days, analyse the result at EuroBasket and make a decision that is in the interest of Serbian basketball and our national team," the KSS said in a statement on Monday.

"The KSS stands with head coach Pesic, who brought the national team's last two gold medals, led Serbia to medals in the last two competitions and restored the cult of the national team and the faith of supporters," it said.
