Partizan beat Red Star to reach final of ABA basketball league playoffs

BELGRADE - Reigning ABA League champions Partizan Belgrade defeated arch-rivals Red Star 89-78 on Thursday evening to advance to the final of the regional basketball competition's playoffs.

Partizan thus won a best-of-three semi-final series against Red Star 2-0.

Bruno Fernando led Partizan to victory with 19 points and six rebounds, Dylan Osetkowski scored 17 points, Sterling Brown had 16 points and Carlik Jones added nine points and eight assists.

Jordan Nwora and Joel Bolomboy each scored 12 points for Red Star and Jared Butler added 10.

In the final, Partizan will face the winner of the other semi-final series between Dubai and Buducnost Podgorica.

Earlier in the day, Dubai won the first game of the series 104-90.
