Djere defeats Wong to advance to Miami second round

MIAMI - Serbian tennis player Laslo Djere is through to the second round of the Miami Masters tournament after a 7-5, 7-6 (7-3) victory over China's Coleman Wong on Thursday.

Djere won after two hours and 11 minutes of play.

He will next face Russian Karen Khachanov.
