BELGRADE - Thanks to a modernised lump sum taxation system, Serbian entrepreneurs will immediately know the amount on their tax bills for the current and for the following three years, a conference on modernising the system was told Tuesday.

The results of modernising the lump sum taxation system and a new system of delivering tax bills were presented at the conference, also attended by PM Ana Brnabic.

The reformed system is a fully e-government-based system, allowing entrepreneurs to register, start operations, receive tax bills and pay them without ever having to go to a Tax Administration office, said NALED Supervisory Board President and PwC CEO Vladislav Cvetkovic.

A decree on lump sum taxation took effect in January and entrepreneurs subject to lump sum taxation have already received their tax bills.
