KRAGUJEVAC - It is important to have a vision, rather than to hate, Serbian Parliament Speaker Ana Brnabic said on Thursday during a visit to the Data Centre in Kragujevac, central Serbia, and the construction site of an innovation centre in the city, and noted that the project was a part of a broader plan for further development of Serbia.
A great thing is ahead of us all - a development plan for the country until 2035, announced by President Aleksandar Vucic, Brnabic said.
"It is important to say that the time of terror is behind us. And it is important that we now turn to further projects, results, to a vision, plans and programmes for the next ten years, and to call to unity, a deescalation of tensions, and to continue to work," she said.
"For the National Assembly, it is important to inspect concrete results, concrete projects we have succeeded in carrying out and launching in the past 12 years, making an active contribution and active proposals and suggestions for the Serbia 2030 and Serbia 2035 plans based on that," Brnabic said.
She was accompanied by Minister of Science, Technological Development and Innovation Bela Balint, the head of the Office for IT and e-Government Mihajlo Jovanovic and Kragujevac Mayor Nikola Dasic.
Brnabic added that, as parliament speaker, she would continue to tour the country together with members of the parliamentary committee on education to analyse projects that were a result of a vision by Vucic and the executive authorities "but would not have been possible without support from the National Assembly and votes from MPs."
