Gov'ts of Serbia, North Macedonia sign MoU in Skopje

SKOPJE - The governments of Serbia and North Macedonia signed on Wednesday in Skopje a MoU on concrete activities aimed at connecting businesses and at participation in business forums and joint activities in third-country markets.

The MoU was inked by Serbian Deputy PM and Minister of Economy Adrijana Mesarovic and North Macedonian Deputy PM and Minister for Inter-Community Relations Ivan Stoilkovic.

Mesarovic said the MoU was a very important document that would serve as a platform for all joint activities in the coming period.

"It is all aimed at deepening the economic cooperation and bilateral relations," she told reporters in the government building in Skopje.

Mesarovic noted that she expected Wednesday's Serbia-North Macedonia business forum to result in concrete forms of cooperation.

The forum brought together some 300 businesspeople from more than 200 companies.
